Most of my photolog pictures are of random, transitory events and places. For this edition of the photolog, I wanted to concentrate on things that are more or less permanent fixtures in my daily life.

This is what I see from my desk around noon when the sun hits the cars in the parking lot across the street.
Billie Four Eyes. Billie's alter ego was born near the nuclear power plant in Russellville and is radioactive.
I was going for this, but it turned out more serial killer than I wanted.
My cluttered workspace. Yes I faked the monitor with Photoshop. It was too glaringly white.
Ghost Cat! My cats are great for long exposure pictures because they rarely stop moving.
OK sometimes they stop moving.
The Green Room Recording Studio. Well not actually a studio yet, but hopefully soon it will be.
My living room. More CDs, books and movies than I know what to do with.
The legendary Bill Eginton and his Arkansas Record/CD Exchange. Shortly after this picture was taken I purchased 12 CDs for $30. I'm debating buying a bound collection of Down Beat magazines from 1967 for $70. Should I or shouldn't I? They're really cool. The articles are really well written and the ads are amazing; it's like time travel.
Vino's Brewpub. 7th and Chester. The indie/punk/hip-hop venue where the pierced young people dine along with old folks, suits and Congressmen. Well, Vic Snyder anyways. He's the only legislator I've seen there. Anyway, diversity at its best.
And all this for just $3.50.
Anthro-pop. Just a 5-minute walk from my house. That's proprietor and Ho-Hum bassist Rod Bryan and his lovely wife in the vehicle out front. Rod told me later that his wife said "there's somebody taking a picture" and Rod said "he must be with the CIA." Currently in the back of the store they're mixing down the latest Jason Morphew record.
Sufficient Grounds. The Coffeehouse of Record for Central Arkansas. I usually order a chai and a cinnamon roll.
Damgoode Pies. The best pizza on the whole damn planet.
Cajun's Wharf. I'm not especially fond of the place, but I love this sign outside. If you really want to see Cajun's there are hundreds of pics at the Superflux site.
