| This is mostly a random assortment of leftovers.
The first several are from Harrison and the rest
are from in and around Little Rock. |
| Forest Heights Elementary, Harrison. The red
bars have stood there since the late 70's. My
friends and I played on those, my older brother
and sister played on those, and today my niece
and nephew play on them. The yellow slide is
new. In its place once stood the 1.5 story tall
monkey bars. They rocked. |
| I remember when that was new. Circa 1982 I
think. |
| I also remember when this was new. I think
3rd grade...1983? |
| This used to be all dirt. It was great for
playing Star Wars, G.I. Joe or Transformers,
particularly the tree on the right. |
| Closeup of the aforementioned tree. The roots
made for many imaginative possibilities. |
| This, too was all dirt for most of my tenure.
Down to the right is the nature trail. I'll take
pictures of that some other day. |
| This building is situated on the former blacktop
parking lot. |
| Little Rock and North Little Rock. I guess
this joke will only be understood by locals and/or
Farkers. |
| Park Plaza Mall. Little Rock. Note the big
wooden owl. |
| New Day Junktiques. I love that place. |
| Antichrist Sperm Donor. Free hip-hop show at
the River Market. |
| First Team from Atlanta, Georgia. |
| Just some goats at the brickyard near Maumelle,
minding their own business. |
| I admire their dedication. Imagine a rapid
flapping sound as you stare at this. |
| Markham and Pine Street. |
